It was an absolute pleasure to have Gita as a guest speaker at our school. As both a talented children's book author and an engaging presenter, she brought an incredible energy and passion to her presentation that resonated with our students. We are grateful for the opportunity to host Gita and highly recommend her for any event looking to inspire young minds and celebrate the power of storytelling.

It was an interesting and engaging presentation.”

We enjoyed hearing about her inspiration for Save Me A Seat, a book that many or our 4th and 5th grade students enjoyed. She gave our young writers tips on how to write a story. Our younger students enjoyed listening to her picture book, My Bindi, which shares the importance of our individual cultures and in believing in yourself. I would highly recommend her for an author visit. ~ Mrs. Capozzi, Library Teacher.
“I really liked the book, My Bindi because it made me understand not to be nervous when I wear my Bindi. One time when I wore it somewhere, I was nervous; but after your visit, I realized that I do not have to be nervous anymore, instead be brave and confident. I look forward to getting Mrs. Varadaragan’s new book, My Saree. Thank you!”
